Brechin Colouring Competition Download

To celebrate the first Summers End Angus festival, I’m running a colouring in competition! 

If you are fed up with AI imagery, then enjoy colouring in my latest illustration, that took me hours to create and will hopefully create hours of enjoyment. Whether you’re a little kid or a big kid, everyone is welcome to enter. The winning piece will be printed onto tote bags for my Merry Thistle stall at the festival and some runners up will be made into temporary tattoo packs, stickers and badges, that will also be available at my stall at the festival. The winners will also get sent a bag of goodies! so grab your paints, pens and pencils and have fun! Even if you’re entry doesn’t win, I will be printing as many as I can, to decorate my stall at the festival!

IMPORTANT, As the winning design will be printed, I can only accept good quality entries. Entries must either be printed at home from the download, coloured then scanned or coloured digitally or pick up an original print from Sunrise, in Brechin. I can only accept good clear entries 

Just add to your basket, after free checkout, you will receive an email with the download link, or alternatively, a limited amount of hard copies will be available from Jen at Sunrise, the gorgeous wee alternative clothing shop on the High Street in Brechin, from Saturday 18th of July.

Just colour them in, then scan the QR code to upload a hi resolution photograph to the Facebook thread, or pop them into Sunrise, by Saturday the 26th of July. Winner will be announced on Tuesday 30th of July.

The original artwork is owned by Judi Milne and may not be republished or reproduced in any way, other than the entry for the competition.

By entering the competition, The Merry Thistle has the right to reproduce your colouring onto merchandise and share and or tag you in any social media posts, this will be your name and age category.

Age categories. 0 to 5 years, 6 to 10 years, 11 to 15 years, 16 years and above.

If you have been chosen as the winner, you must get the original piece emailed to me in a high resolution format by 1/8/2026
