Returning to the Earth Print

Returning to the Earth, was inspired and is dedicated to a wee red fox I found passed away in my woods. She was just lying under a tree and by her greying muzzle I’m presuming it was natural causes. She looked so peaceful. I admired her beauty for a moment, her beautiful thick winter coat and velvet ears, then covered her in layers of moss, twigs and sticks, so she could return to the earth in piece.

I was then spring cleaning my shed in the woods and came across a piece of cherrywood, that we had saved from a damaged tree four years ago in storm Corrie. I laser engraved my wee foxy onto this piece, so she could come full circle and I’ve hung it up in the woods so she can keep an eye on all the wee beasties that live there.

I have just released a limited edition print onto this gorgeous sage coloured card, along with “Moonlight” these are limited to 20 prints and all signed and numbered. They are A4 size 210mm x297mm
